Sitting here during the first tech for “Vows of Penelope Corelli”, at the Curtain Call theater in Latham, NY. It is a cute show about a husband returning to his wife and daughter after being missing for over 5 years; after his wife won the lottery for 53 million dollars. I designed the lights and the set was designed by Dee Mulford. Dee dressed the set with worldly items, as if the wife had picked them up from her travels. The lights are simple; a little backlight through the window, and front door, and one breaking the 4th wall light cue. The show is in good shape. The set is 99% done and the lights are looking good. We should be in great shape for opening; oh yah, and the actors are doing a great job also. Come see the show, it’ll be cute.
